hello
i installed the program today and i have some problems
the most anoyest problem is :
when i build my project.....
he is opening again and again the file(where i write the code)so i need to close a tab every time that i build
how can i stop this auto opening tab option?
C::B version, compiler (and version), OS ?
Does C::B open the tab multiple times or just once ?
If just once:, this behaviour is normal if you have errors or warnings, because C::B jumps to the first error/warning.

btw. having this behaviour configurable (on/off) for errors/warning and for find in files too would be nice.
he open the error file(tab)once ;
but i like to disable it cause every time i try to compile he is opening another 1 and another 1 and then its like 10 tabs to close
this auto tab opening is also happpening when i click on the error\warnin
i like to disable it how can i?

You mean the same file is opened multiple times ?
This is indeed not correct, but you still do not give the necessary information I requested:

C::B version, compiler (and version), OS ?
How should anyone be able to help you without knowing nearlöy anything about your system ?
cb version svn 5456
author the code blocks team
wx2.8.9 windows unicode
yep he opens the same files multiple times
compiler version
dont know but its gnu gcc compiler
You still did not write which OS you use (it's obviously windows, but which one).
I never saw this behaviour on windows, just somthing similar on linux, if the project resides in a directory that is openend via a symlink.
Does this happen always for all projects or only for a special project ?
Do you have any special characters in pathname ?
You can try a more recent nightly and see if this behaviour is still there.
i have windows 2007
yes its with all my projects ......
