hi,
(menu) settings->editor... crashes C::B on win7.
Happens also on the nightly 6508 from 21.08.2010.
Deleting all settings in ...\AppData\Roaming\codeblocks\ doesn't help.
The nighly 6454 from 07.08.2010 has no problems.
I have a small problem with svn 6532 and more precisely with xaviou's patch.
The generation stops with this error :
C:\CodeBlocks_SVN\CodeBlocks_src\src\plugins\contrib\NassiShneiderman\NassiFileContent.cpp||In member function 'virtual wxString NassiFileContent::GetWildcard()':|
C:\CodeBlocks_SVN\CodeBlocks_src\src\plugins\contrib\NassiShneiderman\NassiFileContent.cpp|29|error: '_' was not declared in this scope|
||=== Génération terminée : 1 errors, 0 warnings (0 minutes, 28 seconds) ===|
on the line containing return _("Nassi Shneiderman diagram, (*.nsd)|*.nsd");
If I revert the _ to _T it works. May be a .h is missing in NassiFileContent.cpp.
I work with Windows XP SP3 and TDM Gcc 4.5

Try again, please.
OK. Works now after correction introduced in svn 6536.
Thanks. :D

PS : I don't think that lines 973 and 992 in NassiView.cpp need to be translated, so original _T is OK.

Hi
I don't know if it is a bug, but CB crashed while using i18n.
If i18n is enabled, CB crash when trying to show the contextual menu in the editor (right click in a source file).
If i18, is disabled, CB does not crash.
After having a look at the crash report (attached to this post), I tried disabling the "EditorTweaks" plugin.
CB doesn't crash anymore, even if i18n is enabled.
Perhaps it comes from the translations, so, here is a link to the used translation file (to be put in CB_INSTALL_DIR\share\CodeBlocks\locale\fr_FR )
http://codeblocks.archive-host.com/CB_20100824_rev6525_fr.zip
This appends on a Windows XP SP2 machine.

This problems should have been fixed. :(
Is it possible that you've not installed the nightly correctly?
Can you try to remove all files from the nightly and extract the new files in a clean directory?

If I understand correctly, the crash Xaviou mentioned happens if EditorTweaks is enabled and he uses i18n, if it is disabled no crash occurs.

That's right
If EditorTweaks or i18n is disabled, all works fine
If both are enabled, the right-click crash.

That's what I've done before sending my previous post :
- deleting all the files in my CB_INSTALL_DIR
- re-downloading all the files (including wxWidgets and MinGW dlls)
- extracting the files from the downloaded archives
- adding the "\share\CodeBlocks\locale\fr_FR" and putting translations files in it
Regards.
Hi Xaviou,
can you try svn r6550.
After recreation of the language-files, the crash should be fixed.
Hi,
I can't answer for Xaviou of course, but I have the same problem, with the same configuration (except I have Win XP SP3). Svn 6550 does not solve this i18n problem for me, sorry. Even after rebuilding CB (of course) or rebuilding the language file (extracting chains to a .po file and converting to .mo one). Disabling EditorTweaks is the best solution for now !

Can you provide your po- and mo-files ?
My last files, po and mo files for svn 6550 are here (http://thunderbird-noia2.pagesperso-orange.fr/All_codeblocks_fr_6550.7z). they should not be very different from those given by xaviou a few days ago (quite normal, they have many common things !).

Personally, I have not noticed anything like this, in any nightly (including this one). I use Code::Blocks on Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista and Linux Ubuntu 10.4.
Perhaps you could add more information to your post:
1 - which OS are you using
2 - is the bug occuring for ALL projects / files, or for a specific Project / File ?
3 - what steps exactly are you doing ? (Open project X / Open file X, right click on the text, select menu item "xxx", ...)
A screenshot may help a lot.
The more specific you are with your bug description, the faster the community will be able to help you (too much information is better than too few).
