Newbie:
In Eclipse I used to add a parameter -gdwarf2 for debugging in AVRSTudio. Is there a similar option in CodeBlocks ?

Juast add it to your projects build options:
"Project -> Build options -> [debug-target] -> Compiler settings -> Other options"
