I have been using Codeblocks for several years and love the software. I now have a MacMini running Mountain Lion, and Codeblocks will not function properly for me, either 10.05 or 12.11. I have spent hours trying to compile a working version with no luck. As a result, I have had to switch to CodeLite which works well on Mountain Lion. Does anyone have any information as to when a reliable version of the software for Lion and Mountain Lion will be available?

No. And saying "something doesn't work" is not very helpful, btw.. How shall we fix that "something" than?
Two problems I have noted just today while using the OS X version 12.11.
1. While building a simple wxWidgets application, Code::Blocks crashed. I cannot deal with the error dialog produced by OS X. This happens frequently.
2. Code::Blocks crashes when quitting the application.
3. When using wxSmith, no scroll bar appears that allows the user to view the bottom portion of the resource.
NOTE: CodeLite works very well on Lion and Mountain Lion, so I am at a loss why the OS X build of Code::Blocks this faulty has been made available for download since 2010.

For me it worked pretty well if I disabled the following plugins:
- CodeCompletion
- Keymacs
- ThreadSearch
For CC, there is a couple of patches pending to be verified by a Mac Dev. Unfortunately at the moment we don't have any. The whole C::B core team does not have a Mac at all, so currently we are searching for supporters on the Mac.
To be honest: For
me personally (so I am just talking for myself here!) Mac has not much priority. As a dev Apple is really throwing stones in your way that makes it impossible to seriously develop OpenSource products on that platform. MacOS seems the platform for money-makers, where OpenSource has no place unless you buy their products. But I simply won't buy an overpriced product that spies on me. Sorry, but no.
However, I am happy to assist/guide any dev willing to develop C::B on that platform.
Thank you for your candid reply. For now, I'll use CodeLite on OS X and check out Code::Blocks after a period of time.

FYI: I've released an updated version for the Mac (SP1) which works pretty well for me under OSX 10.6... including wxSmith.
In 10.8 I can't even open the new version :-\

Oh yes - I forgot about that once again...I'll fix it and report back. (It explains why it works for me.)

OK - the package on Sourceforge is updated. BerliOS will take some time - this is a very lame server. But if you want to, grab it from Sourceforge. I'd be glad to hear if its working this time... and sorry for the inconvenience.

I downloaded CodeBlocks-12.11-SP1-mac.zip from sourceforge and am getting the same error as MortenMacFly. I am running Mountain Lion (10.8.2) as well.

Tried your latest version and it loads now. Thank you!
SP1 seemed to get Code::Blocks working on the sMac for me.
Thanks!
