i have Ubuntu 12.04 and it's running an older version of Codeblocks 10.05, how do i update to the latest Codeblock version?

use a ppa like this one from dmoore or pasgui
https://code.launchpad.net/~damien-moore/+recipe/codeblocks-daily
or
https://launchpad.net/~pasgui/+archive/ppa/
but use only one of the two... not both at the same time...
