Hello,
I have remarked when using the Find option (Search menu) for searching something in a file, that no message is displayed when there is no further occurrence of the searched text. For example, I have searched for "space_left" in the manager.cpp (wxAUI) and correctly the Find found the only occurrence. But if I pressed F3, then nothing happen (of course, because there are no more occurrence :)). In such a case, it would not be a good idea to display a message saying that no further occurrence of "space_left" exists in the manager.cpp?
Best wishes,
Michael
PS.: I am using rev1754
In the status bar please.
No annoying evil pop up messages.
That should only occur when the text occurs exactly once in the file, am I right?

Sounds like a good idea. :) That work for you Michael?
Some programs do it with a dialog box, can be annoying, on the other hand sometimes they allow to start from the beginning again (suppose you started your search in the middle)

Ah, yes, I see. I had this option enabled. Disabling it and it displays a "text not found" message :D. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately no bing for me :D. I share an office with a colleague and to avoid disturbing each other with sounds, music, bings and so on we kept our notebooks silent.

Ah, I see you don't have the machine that goes Binnnng.
It's my favourite, though. You see, we lease this back from the company we sold it to, and that way, it comes under the monthly current budget and not the capital account.
