Print Page - Build and Run

I am new here and I am a human being.

I just downloaded CodeBlocks to my desktop and am trying to start learning to code. However, the build and run button does nothing when I click it. Is this common? Can anyone give me some direction as to how to have my code compile. I'm writing in C.
