Forum is so slow loading pages, took about 3 minutes to login, takes 1 to 2 minutes to load everything else.

I too have had this problem for weeks now. The forum is incredibly slow.
It's slower than the old BB's on my 8080 pc in the 80's at 300 bps.
I used to take naps between responses.
Main site is fine.
May be all is needed is upgrading forum from 2.0.15 to 2.0.17, don't know if that would help or not.
I've contacted Morten and Mandrav about this, but I've not received an answer.
It is slow for me as well. Something like 5+ sec per request.
Would love to be aliitel more active on this forum, but don't feel like waiting part of the day to read one topic.

I have the same problem. And only with this forum. At first I even thought that it was broken and no longer works ...

The forum should be faster now.
Admin has fix this issue.
Its better, some things are faster than others.

It surely has its moments (slowness), but not anywhere near when I started this topic.
I'm also western US.
... it has had its moments of snail slow speed; but lately (last two weeks or less) it has been much better. For what its worth I'm in the upper Midwest U.S. :)
