Hi, everybody !
I've just installed C::B with VC++ Compiler installed.
When I first started C::B, VVC++ compiler has been correctly detected and I declared it as my "default compiler".
When I go to de "Settings | Compiler", "M$ Visual C++ toolkit 2003" is shown as my "default Compiler".
BUT when i create a new project from any template and i go to see the "Build Options" of that project, The GNU CC Compiler is selected, not VC++ !!!
What did I missed ?
C++ Rooky
projects created from templates always use gcc, you need to change the project (file) afterwards (manuallly or through settings/build options)
Ok ! I See !!
But then ?! What is the interest of the "Default Compiler" option ?

It is intended to be the default compiler for everything; merely, it has not yet been implemented entirely for project templates. Have you tried the project wizards?
I don't know where are the Project Wizards you're talking about.
But if à create a new empty project, it's OK, VC++ is the selected Compiler for that Project.
I hope RC3 will fix that for the project build from templates :)

Development snapshots are also available (http://www.codeblocks.org/nightly), one each night (try them, they 're pretty stable and unbelievably feature-rich!).
I gonna try the 666 nightly :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: !!!!!!!!!!!!!
