Post by: slimanddeadly on July 26, 2006, 10:01:43 AM
Sorry just a quick question.

Love using codeblocks, but my lecturer says we MUST use KDevelop.

Just wondering if I reeeeeeeally have to because I love my copy of codeblocks  :D

ie. is the stuff I write in Codeblocks perfectly compatible with Kdevelop?

Well, what kind of answer do you expect  :)

If masta say me use KDevelop, me use KDevelop, else masta be angry with me.

Yes and no. Code::Blocks does neither read nor write KDevelop project files.
However, the programs made with Code::Blocks are just as good as if made with KDevelop. You can compile the same sources, link to the same libraries, and get the same executables.
