Freeze and Thaw main window during DnD loading
show hourglass in case of loading a project/workspace

Regressions/Confirmed/Annoying/Common bugs:

toolbar-images-not-changing-state (is a wx problem/Win XP problem)
there are several issues with Code Completion (is being redesigned : work in progress)
menu items with icon not correctly aligned (since wx263)

Heh, Special Debug Build... you make it sound so... you know... special :P

It's a shame the file size increases that much but it should provide, at least, a better feedback on bugs :D

Hi,

I just tried it on my private computer with this latest nightly, same precedure as every time: crash on shutdown, but only after changing some settings (I deleted the conf file prior to installing).

I append as well my config file as the bug report. Tomorrow I will repeat it on my office computer and send you the results form this as well.

I've been using the nightly builds for weeks now and havn't experienced any crashes whatsoever. I aslo play around with the configuration settings (in the IDE, not the files itself) and exit, no crash.
But with this edition, it still won't open any custom Help files if there's no active project, editor.

something that should have been fixed in this build, pfff maybe it's because of the heat ????

in your codeblocks directory there should be an rpt file and that should now contain some more information. If the content of that file is not too big you can post it here ("quote") otherwise provide a download link or something. you can also attach to the post, but the space of attachments is limited.

To disable this plug-in, I go in manage plugins and I uncheck keyboard shortcuts (is it correct ?)

Hi,

as announced here's the error report from the computer in my office (as attached file). It crashed on exit also (as expected)!
I tried to attach the config file as well, but it's to large. :(

i'm building CodeBlocks myself from svn sources, but i never got a crash-on exit from the keybinder plugin :?

i've enabled the keybinder plugin all the time and use it heavily

is someone interested to try my build, in order to test if the crash happens too ?

you can download it from here:

un7z it in a new directory, don't use the directory, where you have installed your already existing CodeBlocks !!
and then run codeblocks.exe from there.

@all crashers :D,

I've got some news: if I disable the key binding plugin (I just found it :oops: !!) there are no more crashes at program shutdown.

in your codeblocks directory there should be an rpt file and that should now contain some more information. If the content of that file is not too big you can post it here ("quote") otherwise provide a download link or something. you can also attach to the post, but the space of attachments is limited.

Works fine with Keyboard shortcuts plug-in disabled. Enclosing RPT, it's clear it's crashing inside of keybinder.dll.

Definitely seems to be the keyboard shortcuts. Disabling it solves the problem.

mais depuis le début je dis que des que l'on met disable keybinder tout fonctionne

sinon comme si le wokspace voulait enregistrer le traitement de fermeture de keybinder lorsqu'est enable keybinder

je sais que cela ne doit pas être facile, merci de prendre du temps pour résoudre ce problème
