why does codeblocks hang whilst opening cbp files from within the desktop manager? it's a simple command: "codeblocks $cbp_path"

so In linux I have to first open C::B and then open a project from there.

works fine here. do you use a current nightly or rc2?

nighly, compiled from SVN trunk. I tried this with rc2, compiled builds and compiling it from source and always the same problem: C::B hangs indefinetly, drawing only outlines of visible child windows.
