Title: Autohide Message pane - Timings customisable?

is it possible to change the timing on the autohide feature of the message/build log window?

I usually have this set too autohide, but it often closes rapidly after compile, it would be nice to alter this to my taste.

I agree about the above saying, the area for coding is so narrow...
