Print Page - Compile button does nothing

Title: Compile button does nothing

I click the compile button and nothing happens. no error messages or anything. gcc is default compiler. Fedora 9, I selected software development packages to install during installation im not sure if thats interfering since codeblocks workd fine on my other setup without that selected. gcc works on commandline
