CodeBlocks doesn't show parantheses immediately

Hi,

I have following problem:
If I type a parenthesis on a empty line or at the end of the line, it isn't shown immediately... It just shows after I type something else (space, letter etc...)

Is there a way to change this behavior?
Using Codeblocks 8.04 under archlinux....
