I am having problems showing the main editor window. When I double click a source or header file in the manager I expect it to show up but it doesn't. Instead there is just empty space. Like this:

Any help appreciated.

btw. the startup script doesn't show either. The one where recent projects are listed.
Is there a way to hide the editor window (like alt+f2 for the manager) that I have pressed by accident?

I'm running windows 7.

Why not try a "nightly build version" ,the 8.02 version was too old. :D
If some piece of memory should be reused, turn them to variables (or const variables).
If some piece of operations should be reused, turn them to functions.
If they happened together, then turn them to classes.

Tried it (rev 5911) and got the exact same thing :(

Woho! got it working. Deleted the codeblocks folder in c:/user/AppData. I lost all my settings but atleast it solved the problem.
