I've been looking in wiki, google and using the search functions at this forum, and i didnt get an answer for it. What's the most common WxWidget version to compile CB ? Can i use any last version, such 2.8.10, 2.8.11 or 2.9.1 ? Cause i followed all the instructions to build WxWidgets with minGW for windows, and i didnt succeed.

Im using windows 7, i have gcc 4.4.1 and 4.5.0 installed, and i downloaded wxwidgets 2.8.11 and 2.9.1.

I have tried and i got warnings and errors. The last time i tried, i got an error like "memory agoted". I will keep trying to build wxwidget, but my question here is what version of gcc and wxwidget are the recommended?

2.8.11 should be OK (I'm using it). There were some bugs, but it is nothing serious, I think.
C::B 10.05 is build with 2.8.10.1 or something like that.

And what about the gcc version? 4.4.1?

C::B for windows is build with this version (I think)
