Ubuntu 12.04

On Ubuntu 10.04 all was working fine.
Now with 12.04 installed the editor to modify your source code behave very strange.
Example when I enter bool I get a pop-up with bool in at but I can't leave the popup and can't continue typing my variable name.
A workaround is to open the source file in gedit and reload in Codeblocks to compile it but that is very time consuming.

Any ideas what this can be?
