Code:Blocks opens two terminals, and new terminal each run

Ahoy folks,
I have two issues at the moment. I am running OS X 10.9 and when I run a program it initially opens two terminals. Once the terminal application each run thereafter opens up a new terminal. Is there a way to A) prevent two terminals from being opened upon the initial run and B) make all subsequent runs open on the same terminal that is open? It would make it much more convenient. Thanks ahead of time!
