Here is a re-posting of some of my previous work.  If I have time/inspiration I may also come up with (a) new one(s).

killerbot

I like them, certainly the first 3, the last one I like less.

ollydbg

I like the second one and third one.

BTW: I see currently in trunk, the splash has two kind of font: hand written font and printed font(the web address). I think at least we should have only one. Mixed fonts are not quite good looking.
If some piece of memory should be reused, turn them to variables (or const variables).
If some piece of operations should be reused, turn them to functions.
If they happened together, then turn them to classes.

thomas

First two are good, second is best.

Third one would be good for nightly builds, but not release (showing svn revision).

ptDev

If this splash screen becomes adopted, will the application icon also be updated? I made this change for the unofficial installer, and it seems to fit in quite well.
I would like to see it there in the next official release.

The second also is my favorite.

Alpha

I guess I forgot to clarify: the second and third are, in essence, the same image, just with the text showing how it could look in a release, and how it could look in a trunk build/nightly.

Just so that you have a little bit of competition:

BTW: For all your submissions: We have guidelines for the logo you should follow (if not already done).
@Kalith: It looks nice, but the form factor is wrong, furthermore the dices are a must.

You mean you'd prefer something like this:

?

To be honest I don't really like it that way. I prefer the current logo (i.e. the 10.05 one), except maybe for the font choice.

Nice.  I always enjoy seeing what kinds of ideas others have :).

So, here's my (5 min) vision:
