No editor window?

Whenever I open a new project in code::blocks, new or existing, the text editor window does not appear.

I'm new to this IDE, so any help is appreciated

What happens if you go to the management pane and then project and then open a file?

When I do that, the text editor just opens and my problem is solved. Thanks for that.
