I'm having a problem with the syntax highlighting on newly created files.

I'm using CB nightly build from 8 feb 2006 and when i create a new file the highlighting just doesnt work,
all text is black and i have to save the file, close it, and then open it again. After doing that it works normally. I downloaded the nightly build from 31 jan 06 and it works just fine but i can't recall when the problem started.

I also tried to install the 08/02/06 on a new directory and it doesnt help.
Can someone tell me if its just me? Thanks

i've observed the same -  but you can manually select from "Edit->Highlight mode->C/C++"  (or whatever you like)

Delete you default.conf. I believe that will fix it. :)

Today, I noticed the same thing. I manually selected the style then. Did not delete my default.conf though.

Well I just deleted my default.conf no luck.  :P Something must be wrong when creating files......

Does anyone know the last revision where this worked correctly???

EDIT:

Waaaait a sec. I wonder if the file encoding patch messed it up?
