when I leave settings|editor the icons of said toolbar shows up/is hidden. I did not notice that before but It might have been like that for a while. It might have come together with the recent changes for codecompletion -- not sure. Right now, I lack the time to bisect this. Has anybody else seen this as well? I do not use the browse tracker.

I am on arch linux using wxwidgets trunk of today as well as svn 12292.

Thanks in advance

Common causes of this type of problem is that CB auto switch perspective between edit and debug mode.

Edit: To confirm look at View -> perspectives

Yes, in edit and debug mode the views are different and they switch as usual. The Perspective is set to cb default and the confirmation popups are deactivated. These I did not change for a long time.

Yet I did not notice the toggled toolbar icons until today after I changed the color of comments.

If you don't use BrowseTracker, disable it in main menu/plugins/Browsetracker.
That way, it does not create the toolbar entry.
