Black/white blocks in editor

Hello,

I installed code::blocks on my chrome book.
Everything works ok, I can build/run in C++, but on the left side in the editor there are black/white blocks.

I installed the latest version via sudo.
Version 20.03-3 arm64

As you can tell from the version number, it is pretty old.
There isn't a newer full release, but you can try any recent Nightly build https://forums.next.codeblocks.org/index.php/board,20.0.html
