I'm not interested in downloading a library that requires one to download another client that hijacks one's email, and could find no easily accessible directions on the use of said library, so my help must end here. Hopefully someone in the RSWL forums with more knowledge than Bartosz can help you. In the end, Code::Blocks has virtually nothing to do with whether that library works or doesn't work; you just have to find the right commands to give to the compiler.

Understood.

Thank you for the time you spent to help me. Maybe the solution is to change my philosophy, rather than running after the 'ideal compiler' ... I appreciate C::B and whish to go on with, especially with MinGW. I learned however how to plugin a second compiler to C::B, which is interesting anyway.

Thanks to all of you for your support. We can now close this thread.
