Could someone be so kind to provide me the latest CVS snapshot (I guess the HEAD branch would be the best - isnt it?).
I cannot currently access cvs from home (forbidden access by my ISP), and tried doing it from sourceforge's shell, but I was unable to even login.
Thanks

rickg22

No, the best branch would be VERSION_1.0 since HEAD is going to be used for future development

darklordsatan

Oh ok, then VERSION_1.0 its is; could someone then provide me a snapshot of this branch?
Thanks

rickg22

Hmm... I hope Yiannis can submit that soon. Anyway I think you should talk to your isp, i've heard some ports are blocked by default by certain isps, but they can be opened by user request.

We plan on providing nightly source snapshots, so stay tuned ;)

Yiannis.
Be patient!
This bug will be fixed soon...

My ISP is a free one, provided by my collegue; its crap and access is blocked on many pages, as well as ftps (and cvs seems like too...). Theres no way to "talk" to them since its free as I said (but I cant afford a good ISP), and its provided with "educational purposes", so Im stuck

Ok, hope very soon as I really want to have the "bleeding edge" and see whats new.

[edit]
Mmm, I just realized you can access the cvs via web
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/codeblocks/
But... downloading the files one by one... Ill wait for the snapshot!

You could make a downloader script in PHP ;-)

 I'm too tired to do that, specially when others issue a couple of commands (or use the explorer shell extension aka tortoise cvs) and get their cvs copy  :D

Here it is:

And as mandrav said: A service for providing snapshots is planned.
