Is there any way to run source files without creating projects? Because without creating project, the run menu is grey..

rickg22

What? Isn't there a "run file" menu?

Well, in the meantime, just search for the exe. Open a command prompt, and execute it from there :P Yeah, it's dirty but it works :)

Where's that "run file" menu? I can't find it. And I've tried running the exe file, but when the program finishes. it closes itself..

I can open a new file, not in a project, put some code in, and save it as a .cpp, and I can build and run it.

I'm running Windows XP SP2 and svn build 4068.

Attached screenie shows what menu I'm looking at to do it..

It seems you are using an old C::B. Please download a latest nightly.

Yeah, that's ancient.  Probably what.. a year and a half old?
