menu bar doesn't show~how to get it back?

installing from synaptic, but after first launch, it shows like following....how can i get the menu bar back?

OS and version?
Probably try a normal theme :)

Edit: I guess you using the "new" unity ubuntu thing, that puts the menu at the top?
(most of the time I ignore long posts)

I'm using ubuntu 10.04 2.6.32-26,talking about theme, i really did change a OSX theme,but after I switched to a default theme nothing changed...

Do you have the globalmenubar stuff installed ?
If yes try to remove it.

I have the same problem. I installed C::B from repo and i don`t have menu bar. I run it on Mint9, without Compiz, without additional menubars.
