Codeblocks is just great

I am new to C++ programming and decided to learn it by using several IDE's at the same time to get an idea of how things work.

I just want to say that Codeblocks is fantastic and by far the best IDE I've seen.

Its easy to install, and get started. Its flexible and gives me all kinds of options, yet it's interface is intuitive and easy to work with. I've been teaching myself online and with some different tutorial books I got and I've been able to use Codeblocks with every tutorial and book I've looked at so far.

I can't say that about the other IDE's I've tried--they are either too stripped down and don't offer much, or they are way too complex--requiring the user to strip out all kinds of things out of projects before executing simple code examples. Or the user interface is difficult to work with. None of that is an issue here

Great job on this!

I agree! Thanks to all who contributed their time and asked for nothing in return.
