newbie issue about "space" key

hi,

i know it's a very nooby question but actually i am and i cant tape anything because of this:
the "space" key open a "help listing full of command", ok it s cool but i just would make a space(blank) and actually i cant and i dont find where i could fix it in the settings.
so if you could help me a little it will be fine.
