Don't auto update contents of editors if I use external tool to edit this file.

One thing is very obvious that I use wxformbuider to layout my GUI then don't auto update contents of editors.
I need close the tab of the editor of this files and reopen it.
It will be updated.
But I have the impression that it can be.

What happen ?? :?

I found this item for enable this feature.

Settings->Enviroment Settings->Check for externally modifies files
