Hello everybody,

i'm new into the WXWDGETS World and find everyday new features  :)

I tried Code::Blocks with wxSmith because i need a GUI Editor which allows to place controls without sizers.

I create a new project into C::B and after this i make a new wxDialog via wxSmith.
I place a Textbox on it and save it ... fatal crash
It crashes also during other basic operations. Sometimes during creating the wxDialog/wxFrame or clicking on elements.

I use Visual Studio 2008 as compiler and my OS is Windows Vista.

Big thanks for any help  :)

Did you compile wxWidgets yourself?
If not, where did you get your pre-compiled wxWidgets?

Note: To use wxWidgets with VS2008 projects; the wxWidgets must be built using VS2008.

Thanks for your reply

Yes, wxwidgets is compiled into 2008

But i think it's rather an internal problem of C::B because it crashes without any error message.
Directly a standard vista total crash "messagebox"
