There's a tab "Resource Compiler" in the Search directories tab of build options. What's Resource Compiler for? What should be included in Resource compiler paths?

A resource compiler compiles resource files (obviously). Under Windows these are typically *.rc files with resources of different types (e.g. UI definitions, strings, icons...) embedded.

However - your question is not truly related to C::B. Please continue reading in a book about development basics.
