Newbie needs help with Mac OS install

Sorry for the newbie question but this one is killing me.  I've installed CodeBlocks and have success with writing the code...but CodeBlocks can't find the compiler.  I've also installed the correct version of XCode for my OS : 10.4.  How do I get CodeBlocks to find the compiler that comes with Xcode?
