Blue rectangles instead of warnings

I have a problem with the build log and the build messages tabs.
The problem is that I see blue rectangles in the place where should be the warnings messages.
The rest of the text is normal, only the warning lines are wrong.
I am in Ubuntu 11.04, and using the package from the repository.
One thing to note is that if I change the font size of the message logs, I can see the text of the warnings, at least in the build log. But if I compile again, the blue rectangles arise.

What are your locale settings? (type "locale" in a console)

Does this happen for all lines, or just the highlighted ?
What's about error-lines ?

This happens only for the warning lines, the error lines and the others are displayed correctly.
Although, at the end of the log there are rectangles too.

I think it is a fonts problem. Ubuntu doesn't recognizes certain characters.
Which is the font type used in the message log and build log windows?
