wxGenericDirCtrl

I'm programming now with Code::Blocks and wxWidgets.
If I want to configure I normally can do that under {} (->events).
But if I use the GenericDirCtrl I don't have any events. But there should be the same events like by the treeviewcontrol...
Do I have sth to do before I can use these events?
