Symbols tab not ordered?

I find that the order of symbols in the Symbols manager tab seems to be in a roughly arbitrary order. Perhaps it's the order of definition in the files. Unfortunately this makes it pretty useless for quickly finding a function or variable! Would it be possible to put them in alphabetical order like Visual Studio does? I couldn't find a setting for this.
