I just recently downloaded CB for a class, went to run it to test it out, when I go to enter the file name I get an <invalid path> message followed by "could not open file 'main.cpp'. The file does not exist" Where do I go to fix this?

Jenna

A little less information.
You did not tell us which OS you are on, which version of C::B you use and what exact you have made to come to this message.

OS: WIndows XP
C::B 10.05
What I am doing is going in to create a new project, Console app wizard comes up, next screen select c++, in the next screen where it asks you to enter the project title, folder to create, project file name, in the box where it should have the resulting file name is where I am getting the message <invalid path>

Jenna

Did you enter (or chose) a valid path for the folder to create project in ?

Ah. Ok. I see what I was missing. Yup, that worked. THANKS!!!
