Compiler issues

I'm new into the world of programing so I'm sure I'll show up here plenty since I'm already pissed off 4 pages into the dummies programming book, I digress. How do I change the compiler in CodeBlocks? Well I know how to get there, I guess what I'm asking is what is the destination to set for the compiler? Or does CB not even come with a compiler and I need to install one myself? Because it keeps saying I'm using an invalid compiler [YOUR ANSWER IS ALREADY THERE. SEARCH THE FORUMS!].

Again I'm an idiot but would love some help =P
