object files not linked to exe microsoft

Have installed visual c++ compiler imported project etc. Compiles ok linker starts lists obect  files and libs  but ends nothing to be done . Tried importing origonal visual mak file same result. Added origonal options to linker page same result. No errors no warnings just no exe
