When debugging, Is there a way to automatically add variables to Watches?

Also, everytime I build my project, the Logs window closes. It's a hassle to reopen and view the Logs everytime I build. How can I fix this?

I'm using Codeblocks 12.11

Look in the settings for Auto-hide.
