character [ and { in mac

Hi, i´m new in the community and i have a dude:

When i type a character [ or {, codeblocks don´t type...  i use Os x, i push alt+` or alt+´ (My language is Spanish) and not work, don´t show the "[" and "{" character, what happend?

Why Codeblocks modifies shortcuts? It should use the normal shortcuts of OS... i don´t understand.
