Code::Blocks closes when I click 'Open an existing project'

I've been using C::B for a few weeks with no problems. But, starting this morning, it's been closing every time I try to open a project. It doesn't crash with an error message, the window just instantly closes. The issue is not associated with a specific project. It occurs the moment I click 'Open an existing project' on the start tab. Same thing happens if I go File > Open.

I can open my work by finding the project file in Explorer and opening it directly, but I don't want to be doing that permanently.

Any advice? I run Windows 8.1 and Code::Blocks 13.12.

Thanks

Out of curiosity, go to Plugins -> Manage plugins, find 'Code completion' in the list, click 'Disable'.

Let's hope so it's the Code Completion plugin that causes the problem.

Thanks for your response, but it seems to be working now :P.

Code completion is enabled but if it happens again I will try disabling it.
