Hi,

I have installed codeblocks on two Win7 machines. On both I chose it to be installed in the C:\codeblocks folder but on the x86 the default.conf file is placed in the C:\Users\uasername\AppData\Roaming\codeblocks folder and on the x86 it is placed in the C:\codeblocks folder.

Whats going on here? Is this a normal behavior?

Why are you editing the file by hand?
Are you sure this is the only default.conf file?

I must have done something wrong because now I retried it and it worked. Sorry in the meantime I removed the first question, I didnt expect to get an answer so fast.

How else should I edit it? I had a lot of lines to change, it would have taken too much time in the codeblocks gui.

What do you need to edit?
Also if you want to copy parts of another defualt.conf file there is the cb_share_config tool you can use.

I had to change the name of some folders in a lot of lines: like C:\oldfolder -> C:\newfolder
