[Bug Report] Hangs when project is opened

Platform: Ubuntu linux
Codeblocks version: SVN 10897. Also occurs on 16.01 stable

When opening a project, code blocks sometimes hangs and the window will stop redrawing, and its CPU usage goes to 100% on one core. It does this until I kill the process. I can't figure out exactly why this is happening to reproduce it, but it happens to me every few hours when I open up a new project. It seems to happen when I open a project on a fresh installation of codeblocks, or if I haven't opened up code blocks in a while and come back to a project.
