I have an idea for this forum

We have 'help' board here, so why can't there be something like 'programming help'. You just know there are going to be programming related topics anyway. It would be easier for everyone. Or it could be 'compilers and programming', because you guys seem to hate if anyone is talking about compilers, because it's not part of the IDE. Of course it's a part of it! Without a compiler IDE would be just a text editor.

Because we don't have the capacity to do so, nor we're interested in being beginner support forum.
There are plenty of resources on the internet that would do a better job.

Why do you insist on turning this forum in basic programming forum?
Why don't you use your search engine and find these better places?

Well, maybe there is half a point.  Not certain if this is possible with SMF, but it may be useful if we could put a subforum "Programming Help" section that is actually a link Stack Overflow (or a similar site).  That way it would be immediately visible where that category of questions should go.

Really? That's your answer? Didn't you read what I wrote. I said that people are going to ask those questions here anyway. Why not concentrate that on one section instead of having those questions pop up everywhere. It would be easier for you also.

@Krice:
Because if we add a section for general programming questions then this would mean that we encourage people to ask them. And we do not. I've specified the reasons why.

I have no problem with the current volume of programming questions, most of the times I ignore them.
But the site admins could not ignore them, they are obliged by law to read everything and I prefer if the volumes for them are smaller, so they can have some time and energy to spend improving code::blocks.
