In the "Search results" tab in the bottom of the Code::Blocks application, the first item is "File" (filename), then "Line", then "Text". It annoys me greatly that the filename is written as a full, absolute path. It means that if I have files in a deep subdir, i.e. on my desktop, then the only thing visible in the "File" column is something along the lines of "C:\Documents and Setti...". Unless I expand the "File" column view, which leaves the "Line" and the "Text" too far to the right, for my tastes.

A nice solution (or at least option that Code::Blocks should give), is to just write the name of the file, no path. Alternatively, the name of the file with path relative to the project directory or something like that.

File names are relative to the project root since December 12, 2005.

When will it be in the official release?

When it's ready.

So RC2 is "ready" even if it don't have variable watching etc., but all of the nightly builds that have been released since with all of their bugfixes and new features, they are not "ready"? :)

Ready may be, but they are unofficial C::B builds :).
