broken compiler selection combobox

there is a problem (at least me and Slammer have it) with the combobox to pick compiler in the compiler config dialog as well as the project build options. when using the mouse, the config for individual compiler gets all messed up. using the keyboard is ok. the details are in these two threads:

i have an amd64 on gentoo linux, c::b sv revision 2134, wx 2.6.2.
