Resolved Fixed:


  • Fixed possible crash in project options dialog (patch #876)
  • Updated batch and lua lexers to the current format (patches #879 and #880)
  • Fixed some assert failures in debug mode (patch #874)
  • Fixed GUI glitch when removing a log window from the MessageManager (patch #870)
  • Disassembly window contents were not cleared when the current frame was changed
  • Added "please wait" message while generating disassembly
  • Rewrote file renaming (fixes Bug #6624)
  • Added "next instruction" command in debugger menu and toolbar, to step one assembly instruction at a time
  • Added "Debug->Information" submenu to display information for:
        + the selected stack frame
        + the loaded DLLs
        + the files being debugged
        + the floating point unit status
        + the handling of signals
        + and the running threads
  • Fixed a layout issue with the batch build log window (appeared only the first time used)
  • Added two new buttons in debugger toolbar: "Debugging windows" and "Information". These make the respective "Debug" menu submenus accessible from the toolbar
  • Fixed a build issue with contrib plugin "source exporter"

Regressions/Confirmed/Annoying/Common bugs:


  • DDE bug : clicking in windows explorer on a CB registered file throws an error message box
  • toolbar-images-not-changing-state (is a wx problem)
  • there are several issues with Code Completion (is being redesigned : work in progress)

Just one remark about this bug I previouly post (crash of C::B when using external program to open rc file)

I have tested to open rc file with other external programs (text editor) like Notepad or PSPad and I don't have the bug (C::B does not crash)
For the moment, that bug seems to appear only with ResEd.
It is rather bad because it is an excellent ressource editor.
