Can't read the variable value from memory dump window.
There was nothing shown after typing the memory address of a variable into the editbox of memory dump window.

Which version of C::B do you use ?

This bug was fixed in svn r5075.

I'm using C::B 8.02 release+Ubuntu 8.04.

That means you have either to wait for the next release or switch to a more recent nightly.

The actual one is r5142.

I'm just uploading binaries for debian (will take a while, because of ISDN) to my server.
They should also be installable on Ubuntu.

Special versions for Ubuntu will normally also be uploaded by other contributors.

Or you look into an older nightly announcement and search for an Ubuntu version >= r5075.
